“The power of focus, concentration, and working in unity is how we can gather as a global community to be a force of change and healing in the world today. It does not matter your education or what you do for work. We all can be a vessel of love and light.” (Sandra Ingerman, Walking in Light)
When I was younger I used to feel impatient, frustrated, limited that I wasn’t able to do more to “change the world” on a larger scale. At several different points I thought about going into politics.
Gradually I came to the realization that my gifting was not necessarily what is required of a politician. I began to embrace the fact that one of the key reasons I’m here on my life journey is to bring the Big Love.
Bringing the Big Love begins with bringing it to myself first. This has been a monumental learning over my lifetime. And without that foundational truth, how can I possibly share Big Love with anyone else?
One of the ways I’m called to bring love is through creating safe emotional and spiritual space for others. Friends, clients, people I meet in the grocery store check-out line. Listening. Asking questions. Being present.
There are endless ways to be “a vessel of love and light.” What’s one of yours?
